Hunters - How to tame the new GHOST WOLVES

It lasts for 8 seconds, so what you need is...

Tame Pet: 20second cast

Heroism, -30% cast time (14s now)

Drums of Battle, reduce cast time by around 2s. (12s now)

Mystical Skyfire Diamond proc - half cast time (6 seconds now)

This gives you a slightly more than 1 second window after latency to tame the pet before it dies off. It is possible with only Heroism + MSD which gives you a 7s cast, just abit harder. The upside is of course you only need a shaman and not a Leatherworker for that method.

I have one, it was pretty difficult to do, but got it after a few tries, its DEFINATLY gonna get a nerf bat, because ive leveled it to 36, and its sitting on 79dps, and im a marksman hunter... :X:X:X

You can do this with Gem + Shaman, will tame after it dies but only for a few seconds.

HOW TO SOLO TAME AS TROLL:

Get down to 10%hp or less so berzerk works to its full potential.

Here is the procedure i used: wait for him to summon first wolfies, after they die count to 10, start spaming aspects, if focus proces after max 3 aspects (STOP spaming after 3) use berzerk and wait for new dogs to come, if they come after focus expired bad luck wait 3 mins do again


also for taming i used the same macro yasha posted, macro cause you cant spare that 1 sec it takes you to manualy target>

Wolfs stay alive for a total of 8-9 seconds, so a 7,5 second tame cast should be enough with a quick reaction time.

Probably it could be done without a troll hunter, if you had a shaman and/or drums and good timing

I HIGHLY doubt this working for a level 30. In fact, unless you can find away around the 1/2 cast time recieved from the Meta gem, I dont see this happening. Sorry

isnt there a ghost wolf in dark shore as well? i had a "kinda" similar one in retail, just north of dark shore, theres some wolf statues, once you use them they might summon such a thing :S

we gather its a nice pet, but leveling it to 70 will be a piss taker but when leved it i think its a great achievment.
