Immortal Hpriests, Zone-able.
So i was doing some 2s on my priest. We won the match, i went on with my business of playing the game.
1 hour later i went to stormwind and noticed i still had my ray of hope buff active.

i went from Dalaran to Stormwind, didnt fall off. was plain and simple absorbing all dmg.
It fell off, after using Ray of Hope again. Sadly didnt manage to solo raid bosses.

I don't want to be that guy, but do you have any written instructions for replication other than winning a 2v2 match?

Trying atm.
Just zoning out doesn't work, so there's an additional trigger.

Hmmm.. was that, using ray and THEN zoning out?

While ray was active.
Yeah I just tried casting ray and leaving the arena while prep buff was active. Then I tried it again casting ray and leaving arena after the timer had finished.
I'm guessing it is an interaction to do with ray being active as you win the match.....as you actually clearly said it was....but that's harder to test

Yeah okay, you need to pop it, the instant you win the fight.

I've had this happen to me before not doing with arena.
If you're talking about the blue debuff from Ray of Hope, the one that doesn't have a time limit, that will not absorb damage. When you cast Ray of Hope, there's two buffs that get applied to you. The blue one you show in the screenshot, and a gold one which has a time limit. The blue one basically says, "While the gold buff is active, you will prevent all damage and healing, and this blue buff will expire when the gold one does."
That buff alone will not absorb damage. The reason it's not off of you is because the gold buff never expired because it wasn't applied in the first place, or at least, glitched out somehow through zoning.
The way I discovered it was by mind controlling another player, it was the opposite faction, having him targeted, and using Ray of Hope.
You see, mind control is kind of buggy. You can use it to get an instant cast spell off on a hostile enemy if you have them targeted. For example, mind controlling someone and then casting Guardian Spirit on them will give them the buff, but will also give you the buff.
With the Ray of Hope, it'll give them the time limited debuff and the blue no time limit debuff, and will just leave you with the blue no time limit debuff
Hope this helps

I don't mean to be that guy, but it doesn't work. I'm sorry.
I've tested this many times before myself, I know how to replicate the steps to getting the blue debuff you show but that blue debuff is simply useless.
If you were able to heal yourself, it didn't work. I see you have Prydaz, so maybe you mistaken taking no damage with the absorption?
If you had a video showing that you were taking no damage and the healing was prevented, then you'd have more credibility. The fact is, that blue buff is nothing without the gold one.
Edit: These tests of mine were conducted before 7.3, and haven't been tested since then. Considering Holy Priests have had a bit of tinkering with Ray of Hope, it could have changed and you COULD be right, but I don't know. I will test today.

Tested it yesterday, and I'm able to replicate getting the blue buff as stated. It's not 100% guaranteed that you'll always get it, but the way I did it was having 2 or more people attacking someone of the opposite faction, then mind controlling and casting Ray of Hope onto them while targeting them.
Sometimes, you'll get the buff and sometimes you won't. Its strange, but this is it right?

Sorry for crappy picture quality, took it on my phone.
The gold buff I have on is just Celumbra legendary, the two icons look the same but the blue one is the Ray of Hope. It doesn't seem to work for me, I still take damage and able to heal up.

I cant make this work either, used ray and exited with prep buff is this like a timer thing.. like 1 tim out of 10 it works ?

It seems really hard to replicate. Tried it on my priest and no luck so far
