Zul'aman Eagle gauntlet can be bugged!

There is some sort of bug concerning the eagle gauntlet in Zul'aman but I am not sure exactly how we did it. More testing is required. Right after the last gauntlet wipe I trained out of the instance using rocket boots and the mobs reset near the front door BUT! The tempest did NOT RESPAWN! Even though we did not even kill him, no eagles or adds were coming at us. This made gauntlet super easy. More testing is required.

Try to reset the gauntlet by running out to the front door. Post some test results.

Can confirm *something* is buggable about this Gauntlet, it happened to us...

After a wipe, we tried again, and instead of 2 Warriors spawning behind, another "Lookout" mob spawned and ran up, despawning the mini boss depspawned, as did all Eagles and Warrior spawns...

Anyone figure this out?

Did any of your guys try to run out after the wipe? I will test this once ZA resets as after It bugged there will be no way to retest this untill reset.

what i think si that it wont reset becouse 1 is outside, so agro reseted, but there are people that stil ddient release, so hte mobs bug out or something

Happened to us last night, though with a slight variation.

We had the entire raid alive but out of range of the lookout. We were using Mind Vision to survey the area cause we didn't know anything about the gauntlet at that stage.
We planned to pull the lookout down the hill to the tank so the tank pulled with range weapon. The lookout did his emote and ran up the hill. We were all like "oh crap" we are gonna die, but nothing happened. So we ran up to his spot and casually cleared through the 4 sets of 2xmobs and then moved up to the boss.
There was no gauntlet event, AND contrary to what I have read now, there was no timer on the mobs resetting, so we were able to run consecutive attempts on the boss for ages while we were learning the fight.

Really, we did mind vision also. That may have been the reason. anybody who has a fresh ZA please test mind vision on the tempest to see if it bugs the encounter.

I dont think its mind vision, did it on wed and a priest mind visioned all the way to tempest and we also did wipe on the event once, well not exactly wiped we all ran out and kept killing mobs till they stopped.

It's not mind vision. If a player is standing on the spot where the Warriors spawn with nobody else nearby, they will kill that player and despawn. Then another lookout spawns, runs up the ramp, and the lookout and tempest both despawn. Will try and confirm, but I know for certain there was no mind vision involved.

i allready posted it in an other forum..
its easy to bug the way up to the eagle avatar..
just let one person stand behind there, where the warrior adds spawn..
he gets killed by them, then dey despawn or u need to kill them (its various) then there are nomore waves of adds..:wave:

A working method is:

Have a rogue. The raid runs up and starts the event

Rogue stands at the bottom, when warriors spawm pop evasion (to make sure both mobs are aggroed on you)

Vanish

Profit with no eagles or warriors

As a warlock, how to bug the Eagle Gauntlet:

1) Start by casting Eye of Kilrogg before anyone starts the event.
2) Send the eye as far up the gauntlet as you can (you can make it almost to the Tempest half the time). The mobs'll kill the eye, then reset.
3) This despawns the lookout.
4) Have everyone run and begin engaging mobs.
5) The lookout should respawn and start the event.
6) Continue to kill enemies. If eagles/mobs from behind spawn, cast Eye again and send it up to the tempest.
7) If it dies (and it will), the mobs will reset, any mobs you've killed will respawn, and all the adds from the gauntlet will despawn.
The lookout will run back again, but the adds will not come.

I've gotten this to work twice and the only downside is you might have to kill the first two mobs twice. Hope this helps.

Oh and yes...you have to re-bug it if you wipe too many times to the eagle.

there is a MUCH easier way to bug the trash for the gauntlet... Just have a hunter stand at the bottom there the warriors spawn at while the rest of the group moves along up the gauntlet. when the warriors appear, just multi-shot and feign death. Doing this causes the warriors and eagles both to run away and despawn, the hunter does, however, need to stay at the bottom untill the group is at the top, since they do sometimes spawn again, but usually they dont respawn and the whole this is a hell of a lot easier to do.
