WOD - Talador - endless hot ticking for 5k

In talador there is a treasure encounter, where you fight a Wandering Vindicator. He casts Light of truth which is an AOE heal that heals him and players in the area.

Light of Truth - Spell - World of Warcraft

Be in the area when someone engages him in combat and be close enough to be affected by the heal.
Dont get in combat!
When he is defeated the heal will be removed from everyone that was in combat with him. But not from you!

You now have a HOT ticking for 5k hp each 1.5s.


Using your hearthstone will remove the effect.

Nice. I had not seen it before. I just found out now, when my bot ran near the encounter and i decided to take over to grab some xp, but the npc was killed before i could attack.

When I uploaded you just jumped in the white shiny stuff and ported. They fixed that. Your method is different. So this isn't a repost let's make that clear.

Not that straightforward to do though. You need a team of people really. I did manage to do it solo but it was a real headache getting a low-level character out to draenor and I died about 100 times., even then it was a lot easier than now because you could get a free kazzak port.

Btw This isn't the only buff out there like this.

Got a friend to help me out on my level 14 druid. Didn't get in combat and stood in the healing circle when he died, but could not get it to stick.

Fixed, or am I doing something wrong?

Not working for me, I have a 110 engaging him and a 19 who is out of combat, the buff does not last long only a few seconds.

My method was fixed. This method is different. Different approaches can yield the same result after a hotfix. I have not attempted this method yet.
