Would be nice to share ideas with like minded people who spend many hours testing and who can actually keep there mouths shut.
Simply start a skype group or a closed/private discord for trustworthy people that want to exploit so stuff stays 'private'

Jeez.
How can people say it was super worth?
It does not matter how much AP you farmed, because the amount of AP is only relevant for a short amount of time. You maybe farmed 2m AP, which is huge atm, but in some weeks, you will need 27m AP for your next trait and one AP item might give you 300k AP. After those few weeks, ask yourself if it has been worth to put your account into a bad stand for literally nothing.
Also, if you got banned for more than a few days, you will miss out your progress on grinding AP, M+, Raids or whatever. If you don't think you miss anything, than why would you even exploit-farm that amount of AP if you don't use your now high boosted Weapon to play high-level content?
Your accounts are now in a bad stand, and for all those leechers out there, what do you think what will happen if you exploit any mechanic in the future? I guess you can figure it out. I'll wait for the day, when people will come up with a new exploit, which looks cool and plebs are starting to leech the shit out of it and read all those opinions "naah you won't get banned for it, it's blizzards fault".

I don't get it JhonnyQ, you are on a board about exploit and you make fun about people getting banned? Why so much anger?
And yes if people werent banned by blizzard, that exploit would had been so ****ing huge for them.
You are talking like if people are all HC farmers, but most people are lazy and with that exploit they could have surpassed good farmer just in a couple of hours..
The new raid in MM is also mainly a ****ing dps / gear check, one of the most important thing to have is probably the 35th point in your artefact for most people in your raid.
The only thing i'm agree with you is that the ban was easy to see coming. When an exploit touch something that can give you definitly more power and become very popular you can be sure there will be a ban wave, especially if it involved famous guild.

This. If an exploit becomes so widely known that doing the exploit becomes almost mandatory to be competitive then obviously Blizzard are going to do something about it.
There's a common complaint on the square warcraft forums about being "forced" to do some content (eg garrisons, pvp) when it becomes essential for character progression. "Forcing" people to do exploits is ridiculous obviously.
That said I don't take any enjoyment or satisfaction from people being banned.

I'll try to devide the majority of wow players into three groups:
1. There are many wow players who do not know about this forum.
2. There are many wow players who know this forum, but don't have an account.
3. The rest are people who participate in this forum in any way aka the community.
Exploits will get public from day to day. The information will spread and after a few hours, there are 20 premade groups in the LFG doing this exploit.
Not everyone of these people are part of our community. But 95% of these premade groups are most likely leechers or people who were told about this exploit. They don't think about stuff. They can't distinguish. They just do it. I do not care about these people. For me, they are simply stupid, because they don't know the risk. They want to be super ahead in the grind and become super cool in rankings and DPS, but they don't use their brain to evaluate their actions. I do not care about them. I feel, we - the OC community - has to be different than them.
We aren't Leechers. We should know the risks. We can judge if it's worth to put our accounts at any risk. We discover the exploits, we share them and make them public if we want to. We have experience in doing so. If you log in the next day and you check the WoW Exploits forum and you find something truly amazing, you shouldn't go absolutly nuts and spend hours and hours leeching the exploits while blocking out all possible consequences. If you do so, you deserve to be laughed at, when the consequences hit.

We'll be removing the AP earned from those who excessively abused this exploit.

That's not sure, many people from mmochampion are telling that they still have the AP from that exploit. If it's true that ban totally worth it. Earning 3 million AP for only one day ban i think it totally worth it for common people. Espcially if they were a bit late at farming.
Maybe i did not understand but they are people claiming they go full exploit and they didn't take back the AP from them.

People cried to loud this time and the whole thing got way too much attention, thats why they decided to retroactively remove the AP (over the next few weeks i assume).
Just like I said on the day it was active, it was 100% obvious that you will get banned for abusing the exploit.
Use exploits at your own risk and/or get a second account for things that look too risky.
