Mobs used to give silver... Now they give only "Jumble of Twine". Clearly something was changed.

It's been hotfixed, but I can confirm that it still works in old instances. Got loot no less than 15 minutes ago.

Nevermind... Got a lock but doesn't seen to work. Only Jumble of twine till now and no silver on mobs =/

On new locks i'm sure it doesn't work... I'm testing in a old lock right now. Been doing it for half a hour and nothing. If anything comes up i'll post here (till now only white trash and "Jumble of Twine")

Still works on "old" instances, I haven't left mine in over 12 hours and I just got a neck 5 minutes ago. I did some testing with 2 other rogues though, it seems that when someone tries to zone into my instance they get a new one. So I don't think you can bring people into your "old" instance lock. Tried 2 separate rogues, not at the same time. They joined raid, zoned in, but were in a different instance to me and when they jumped the fence and got to the mobs there was only twine, no money and no greens. Not sure if there's some other way to get them into my instance but it would seem that Bliz has made it so that new people trying to zone into an "old" instance get put into a hotfixed one instead.

fixed on all new instance ID's. If you could find someone with a character parked inside for 1 week it would still work.
