Enter DK hall Acherus as any class - access to their mission quest

There's a great new toy called Emerald Winds that lets you jump continuously. Combine this with a glider and you can retain altitude for a long time. You'll need both of them to get into The Ebon Hold. Either get some goblin gliders, or work on getting the new toy glider. I don't have it, but I'm sure it will work.

Once you have the necessary items, go to Dalaran and stand here:


In the distance you might barely be able to make out The Ebon Hold. Pop the glider and the toy immediately and sail in that direction.


Once inside, you can take the teleporter down to the bottom:


And if you have advanced far enough in your own class hall to get your (second?) follower mission quest, there should be a quest available for you here called Steeds of the Damned.


I'm only 105, so I'm not sure if there are more quests you'll be able to get here later. I haven't had time to complete these missions yet, but it seems like I'll be able to turn in for the reward just fine. If I can find ways into more class halls I bet we can get more of these quests.

It's not exactly game breaking, but it's neat to be where you aren't supposed to and get a quest that was never intended for you to have.

Already posted about this in the exploration forum ([Beta] Access DK class hall on any class). The only part of the death knight class hall campaign you can do as another class is the missions. Once you finish the final mission and the generic "complete 50 world quests" quest that every class gets, you can't go any farther.

I would've re-posted it here if I thought it had any significance, but without the ability to see their phased NPCs (followers), there's nothing else that can be done with this.

Fixed, when i left Dalaran in that direction i was instantly dropped from gliding to falling.

And if you are a DH who just happens to drop himself on the platform and die. You'll respawn in the Barrens.

The Gliders are hotfixed so you can't use them to get out of Dalaran, but if you have another slow fall ability, this is still possible. You just have to slowfall away from Dalaran a bit.

im in .. as dh you can jus glide there witth the toy and accept the quest! But you cant access the mission table thing but you can access the missions from your own class hall

just did it on shaman with a glider, was pretty cool and many confused DKs

This isn't fixed. You can still do it (did it as a Hunter you'll get dismounted from the glider when you use it while still being in dalaran so just jump out (did it with disengage) and fly to the position) mission table isn't selectable but you can accept the quest and do the missions in your own order hall.

It's fixed now. I was able to use the Eng glider with the emerald wind toy, but when I got there I was immediately picked up by a winged skeleton charger and carried back to dal.
