Hello.
Easy gold achievements (except Race Roadhog).

didn't work. Followed the video step by step. Said "Trial failed".
I can see the toll counter on my screen stuck at 18 and I'm at the end of the race.



EDIT: Okay, I found out that I did wrong. After the last checkpoint, WAIT A LITTLE WHILE for the quest to update to tell you to get to the Start banner. My first attempt I went to proving ground as soon as I hit that last banner. Just wait for the quest to update, hop in then out of proving grounds, and you'll be fine. It worked for me.

EDIT 2: Nope, still failing for some reason. it worked ONCE (yes I abandoned the daily and retook it each attempt). I get to the finish, and it says Trial Failed each time, yet I beat it because I returned to the finish. Nothing makes sense.

EDIT 3: Tried it on an alt, still failing it. Doing nothing different from when I succeeded the first time.

Anyone has any idea how to solve this?

Its the RUS servers so i guess everything is ****ed from start on there

Ive had no problems,all i do is once you hit the secoound banner i just go past it a little bit around 20 feet or so then teleport in,chill for 10 secounds then teleport out
and go back then hope on the mount your doing the acheiv with and cross finish line,think i could almost write a book on the tricks i do with the proving grounds teleporting
also i use this macro to get in and out /run LFGTeleport(IsInLFGDungeon())

Hey guys to solve the Problem with the "Trial failed" its importend to get on the Vehicle first then take the quest an follow every step also after you port back in the dungeon wait a Little while about 10 sec. then HS over to TB an go back to the race.

Hope this will help sry for the bad english.

Worked perfectly for me. +7rep - In case anyone didn't notice though, the end of the video points out that the Big Race Roadhog doesn't work, in other words, the strider. Not sure why, but as soon as you get near the strider the race completes. Probably has to do with proximity to the finish line.

I noticed the same thing. Most def. has something to do with finish line proximity. Notice how he is very careful when he goes to finish his race in the vid!

The "starting on mount" thing fixed my issues earlier! It worked first time after doing it. I guess I wasn't on the mount when taking the quest after the first time.
EDIT: You don't need to hearth, just port in and port out of the Proving Grounds.

Also I would like to mention it is very possible to get the racing strider gold achievement by blinking right on top of it as a mage (maybe other classes can try a gimmick like that aswell).
