minor - Copy Spirit of Redemption to your character

Hello, I am not 100% sure you all would consider this an exploit but as it doesn't seem like blizzard would intend for this to be possible I posted here. I've discovered you may copy the appearance of the Spirit of Redemption (https://i.imgur.com/YGLpEul.jpg) to any character. Using a potion of illusion (or mages with the minor glyph of illusion) while standing on the dead priest and having it targeted will capture the skin and then using the Sky Mirror on yourself will lengthen the duration. Note: Sky mirror alone will not work, you must use the potion of illusion first. Mirror only lengthens the appearance.You must be quick though as the dead priest doesn't have the ability very long.

Your character can still use all abilities, mount, and look awesome. And of course other people can copy it from you as well. This works for both graphic versions of the spell. The old school GY spirit healer does not have any texture movements so it just floats around when you walk, but the Valkyrie version will animate motion.

This is particularly sneaky sometimes if someone isn't paying a lot of attention in battlegrounds as people are somewhat trained to stop attacking when they see that image because it means priest is dead and will focus on other people in some cases.

I'm sure its known to some, but I've never seen anyone doing this before so I wanted to share. Thanks for reading!

The only problem with your post is that this isn't minor. The confusion factor in bg's with this type of thing is huge. I know from copying the appearance of minion that you just simply never get targetted-I've walked through twenty players in AV and they just ignore you.

Just my opinion but I consider this an exploit as I believe Blizzard would allow you to skymirror/prism the spirit if it were intended. But it is difficult to know one way or the other.

99% sure this was a thing when all the appearance copy crap came out and was hotfixed quickly. Highly doubt it works.

With patch 8.0 this once again works with potion of Illusion. Extend with skymirror/prism.

Never stopped working for mages with illusion btw. Still great fun. Possible to get off a ton of casts with people ignoring you that you wouldn't otherwise.
