PVP Gear Scaling Bug
Hey guys, found a neat bug today when queuing for Skirmishes, since PVP gear scales in Arenas, your stats get increased, but if you Log out once you enter the Skirmish, then log back in, your stats don't get reduced back to normal levels.
1. Equip PVP Gear
2. Queue for Skirmish
3. Log Out as soon as you enter the skirmish (Preparation Area)
4. Log Back in
5. Don't log out, but you can change zones etc and it's fine.
Before:

After:

(Forgive the not enchanted thing, it's a UI bug).
This is only an assortment of 700/710 pvp gear, not all of it was, either. It appears to scale it to what it's supposed to based on the tooltip (730 or 740).
Hope somebody finds this useful

Um wow, did you check this with meters to see if it's just a UI bug? How long does it last, do your stats reset when you enter a non pvp instance?

My friend dueled me and my HP was increased, it only seemed to go away when I logged out, sometimes it did bug out my bars though, so that was weird. I tried it on Kazzak, my DPS was up quite a bit compared to before.

The bit about the PvP gear is kinda important; had assumed OP meant standardised gear; kinda useless for those with 740+ gear, RIP ;(

yeah I should've emphasized that this is related to the fact that PVP gear scales in PVP but doesn't in PVE (The whole 700 ilvl PVP blues = 730 in PVP thing)
My lock with full PVP Gear:

It's definitely increasing my stats, but if you're over 740 already ( I tried on my mage who's 736 all PVE, saw no change) then you won't see any difference. It's nice for pvpers/undergeared PVEers who have PVP gear to get that extra edge.

Fixed? When logging back in it loads twice then returns me to where I queued with debuff.

Seems to work for me.
To check that this wasn't a tooltip issue, my methodology was this:
1) Cast base spell (eg shadowbolt) against mob or target dummy. Do not use the exploit you are testing for, you want a normal figure to measure it against.
2) Remove buffs, including those that proc during combat.
3) Get average damage number for base spell based on combat log. The combat log does not lie like tooltips do.Ignore crits.
4) Use exploit and repeat steps 1-3.
5) Measure against normal damage.
