Checklist for refundable gear to buy:

- Cata Justice/Valor vendors in org/sw (now sold for gold)
- Cata honor/Conquest vendors in org/sw (no need to go to gadgetzan)
- Justice vendors in the middle of Shattrath
- Dalaran tier sets; these are split into armor types and are not always full sets. Plate is in blacksmithing building, cloth in the shirt shop, and so on.
- Dalaran PvP season 5-7 - these can all be bought for gold in your faction's side of the city from the justice quartermasters
- Dalaran PvP weapons & season 8 - these can be found in the sewers
- Area 52 - if you have a high RBG rating or old PvP title, you can get all the old school gear here
- Ashran; obviously the latest PvP sets
- All daily quest hubs or reputations that sell gear will most likely be refundable eg. argent tourney
- MoP PvP vendors on the wall
- Sunwell Vendors on isle of quel'danas

By the looks of it, the MoP Justice/Valor vendors do NOT offer a refund

If you can, use a mage to teleport between Dalaran and void storage faster than any other class to speed up the process.

Obviously the more marks you have the better, Also using a warrior / warlock and mage will let you be able to do all the weapons. if you want the gear for all classes have fun! takes so long XD. not only that theres also the old pvp vendors like in orgrimmar and dalaran. Happy farming!

Could I be banned for doing this? Never really exploited before and just wanted to be sure there weren't any bans from similar actions in the past

I'm having a hard time doing it, but I showed a friend and he's got most of it done. I only have two marks right now, so I just want to get the boots and belts done, but I just can't seem to get it done (US Server). Thanks for the awesome find!

Anything and anything you do that is not intended behavior of ingame mechanics, be it big or small, is technically bannable.

Short answer: Anything that's not intended, they have legal right to ban you for.

Long answer: Really doubtful. You're not hurting the economy, and all the transmog items go straight to you. I'm guessing it will be fixed quickly, but rolling banwaves are very unlikely. Blizzard doesn't like the ban unless you're hurting the economy/other players, because they want your juicy $14.99 a month. I've been cheating openly for years, and my single ban only came from naming my hunter pet a naughty word.

Does no work with BoE items i think, keeps telling me only soulbound items can be deposited into void storage. So seems like if you have BoE greens from farming you cannot transmog using this then go and sell to AH.

I don't think it will work with BoE drops, but as casupowa states below he got it to work with vendor BoE's (atleast that's what I understood from his post). You'd have to equip it to bind it before you deposit it into void storage.

Blizzard does not rely on "legal reason". Your ability to log into servers is simply a product you rent from blizzard. They can ban you at any time, for any reason. Of course if they did, they would not be popular, but the fact of the matter is that they DO have a reasonable amount of unreasonable bans at this point in time.

You should probably read the ToS and EULA before giving people advice on what blizzard "legally" can do.

1 Buy an item with marks of honor
2 deposit the item into void storage
3 log out to character select screen - you have to do this
4 log back in
5 take item out of the void storage
6 vendor item and get your marks back

Tested and worked.

Thought it didn't but was having network issues. Confirmed working 100%

Also works for me on EU.
Tested with vendor BoE's, and that worked too, full refund So if this still works when DMF comes (as previously mentioned) it will most probably work there too

It works on the garrison dwarven bunker gear too.
