1x Ring Explosion.. no 20x Ring explosions.
So earlier today in a mythic dungeon i noticed something weird..
and this happened:
Boss got pulled:
i kicked everyone after they got in combat.
everyone used their rings.
i invited everyone back
ring exploded for 3x, for 3 times the normal "group ring pop".
Aka 3x Ring Damage.
Enjoy untill it gets fixed.
Use Macro:
/kick raid1 (untill 20->30)
to invite
/invite "PLAYER"

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't leaving and then rejoining a party during a raid boss encounter teleport you out of the instance after X seconds?

Seems a valid point, i'll try this in a lower end raid today to see if you get kicked out immediatly

Elite User
doesn't it not matter cause all damage done during the ring is exploded so having 5 ppl buff the explosion damage be the same as 5 single people?

NOPE! if you use the ring while being alone , the explosion will count only your damage absorbed , same for the other being kicked out of the party , while if you'r all grouped up , you'll have 1 explosion but for all your stored damege , from all the 3 dpss.
Maybe you'll have some other usage of this , i'll use my ring to kill the boss , you'll explode yours on the adds , or something like this

Fairly certain the OP is trying to say that after the group disbands and they all pop their rings and get re-invited the ring buff is glitching out and exploding for far more damage than what is intended. The only answer to this is that I can see is that when the buff is active after they get re-invited it's registering all of them as the initial user and is somehow bugging out by also combining the entire groups damage for the duration of each ring in the final explosions and each of them explode at the end of the buff for extreme damage. Now the only way to prove this is actually doing more damage than intended is to provide logs of all the players and seeing if the explosion is combining all 3 users together for each explosion or only using each of their own damage during the buff for the explosion. If it is the former it's a fairly game breaking damage boost (if the instance boots aren't true, I don't know I haven't bothered to research it), however if it's the latter it's not a damage boost at all seeing as they're only exploding for the damage they did during their buff which the initial user would have exploded for in a "group" explosion anyways. Will toss rep if former can be proven though.

Too bad you post this on April Fools' day but anyway sounds like something very possible. Does this affect loot in any way? Have you tried that? :P

why you discuss this at all if everybody knows that there is no possibility to ivite players back to party after kick if player in combat in dungeon or raid environment...

Probably because people often consider discussing April fool's jokes? It's a funny day after all. Let it be. :shh:

This is not an aprils fools joke..
and those who're saying "you cant invite in raid combat"..
have you ever tried inviting someone or something?.. think you've misunderstood the difference between a Raid Invite, and a Summon.. lazy bastards.
And i've tested it again with a simple autoattack rotation with my mates and myself, and we saw, 44% dmg pr Maluus, pr Player.
