Transmog Recolors unlock

So I discovered this by accident but if you spam click on a weapon in the transmog interface it will eventually change to another color. Working for WoD raid items (normal and up)


Here are the steps:

1. Go to the transmog guy.
2. Choose a WoD weapon to change transmog to.
3. SPAM CLICK that weapon transmog from the list.
4. It will change color.
5. ??????
6. Profit.

Might work for gear as well. And sometimes you get the higher difficulty recolor and sometimes the lower. Kinda random.

I've had that happen to me as well. However, I could not get the unintended color to swap to my weapon.

Client-side only; doesn't work if you attempt to apply the recolour.

It does, sometimes it won't let you do the recolor but sometimes it will. Just tested it.

Yup, same thing happened with me. I don't know whats up with it but perhaps the hacking gods can discern what's going on packet-wise.

Could be that the server-side item check does not apply to the tier recolors.

In the video he did the bug right, he was just showing you can't transmogg it. This bug has been in the game since highmaul but you cant do anything with it.

On the video above, the player got 2 Calimity edge in his bag, one heroic and the other one is normal.

You were able to transmog in blue because it's the skin of your heroic Calimity edge.

I really don't think it works.
Of course there is a visual bug for the client side that can let you see even the MM weapons, but you still can't take the color of an item you don't have in your bags.

Watch the last 30 seconds of video; this only works if you have the appropriate reskin.

Ima go ahead and say this to be clear: Nobody, as of this moment, has proved that this exploit has, or had, worked past the interface. My video however, clearly proves both methods (the discussed one in the last 20-30 seconds) do not work.

I get this bug all the time, but Apply button doesn't work if you have the wrong skin. Hence, this thread is useless. Please close this.
