Hehe ye, I noticed this myself the day you could start farming rep for the Netherwing. Was so funny because everyone though I had already got the mount in 1-2hrs ^^

I've had this work without having to do that method, whenever I would leave I would have it with me. It would go away on my nether ray but on my normal epic flyer it wouldn't go away.

In addition for herbalists: just pick up dreaming glory and get the buff, then just fly off the NW ledge and you will keep your temp netherdrake also.
