Hmmm, maybe its worth me coming back and checking out to see if some things work.

Tried this with the orb that summons Kalec in Magister's terrace and found myself phased out for 20 seconds, could hear the sounds of dungeons and see healer buffs cast on me but couldn't see anything. Probably useless in this specific case, but the effects seem to be specific to each clickable object, so there's probably something gamebreaking out there somewhere.

This is more your area than mine but my guess it is worth a look.

Sick Find veng. got me thinking of some more clickables that might work with this and have some in mind. Just don't have any desire to play this game anymore. If any legendaries + want to try, i can pm you the quest if you want to look into it. Glad to see Leniox is at least back +rep Veng

phew just checked this trick with several cinematics and none (no insiviblity or immunity) works like this one: some of them work like the orb in magister's terrace (which advanta tested), rest dont even port you inside dungeon neither give some effect
quests are: Borrowed Brew (the jade forest one, which was used with dc macro before fix); The Eye of the Storm (SW, near cataclysm portals) ; Easy Money (Uldum starting quest in tanaris, where you try to mount a camel) and the very next one in uldum Traitors!
After that i tried Finalize Garrison Plot with no luck, so... if anybody finds more objects with same effects as the Through the Looking Glass gives especially non-draenor feel free to share
