Super easy Valithria Dreamwalker (ICC) win, with a Death Knight!
Howdy peeps
Found a way to easily beat the Valithria Dreamwalker encounter using a Death Knight. This is similar to the other methods of using bandages to heal Valithria, but my way doesn't even start combat till she is fully healed first. Hope you enjoy!!!
1) Create a stack of Antiseptic Bandages. You'll only need like 5 or so, but whatever.
2) Get to the entrance of Valithria Dreamwalker. DO NOT ENGAGE YET.
3) Using your Control Undead spell, carefully (and one at a time) use and kite 3 of the 4 undead mobs which surround her back to the entrance doorway, which you then dismiss and kill them.
4) At this point, you should have 1 remaining undead mob near the dragon. Position yourself so that you will use Control Undead once more on that last mob, and once you cast, immediately start using the bandage on Valithria WHILE still controlling that undead mob.
5) The Control Undead spell lasts for 5 minutes, and you need to apply about 5 bandages on the dragon in order to heal her to full, and each application of the bandage has about a minute debuff before next application, so you need to make sure you apply the next bandage right away till she is fully healed.
6) Once she is fully healed, simply DISMISS your undead mob that you have been controlling the whole time. Don't be too quick to kill him until you hear the roleplaying voice of Arthas/Lich-King, then once that happens just kill that mob and BAMMM... encounter is done and won.

Well, considering that you are beating a boss by getting around the start of combat engagement, and mechanics manipulation, I'm pretty sure it's an exploit.
But thanx for being helpful.
P.S. Did you even read it?

Wait... why the control undead?
I have always skipped the part on all my Legendary toons, since they couldnt heal but had the idea of bandaging them in mind, sure, but have not yet executed. Will do possibly today.
But why control undead and not kill em? Please clarify

He claims the boss is full health BEFORE entering combat, wich would be an exploit and not a simple clever use of game mechanic. Please read the thread before making assumptions.
I will try this
Did it ever happened to you, when you're smoking a cigarette and you try to get it out from your mouth but your lips are so dry that your fingers go to the fire instead because the cigarette is stuck on your lips?

Ahh now I understand
OP you have highlighted so much stuff - just highlight Before Entering Combat and it's all good.

You have to Control Undead because if you kill one as they are, it begins the boss encounter.

Needs fine-tuning. Atm I dismiss, and the HP ticks down again. Can only reset the encounter from here on
Edit: Does not work for me. Tried it multiple times she being at 100% and immediatelly when LH talks killing the mob, the fight just goes on like usually and she begs for healing, ticking down from 100,99,98... as if she was never healed. She seems to need overhealing.
Wasnt there a blood dk trick with the worm healing? Pretty old but I remember there something...
Edit2: Where did you dismiss your pet? Right next to the dragon where you healing him or at the entrance of that dungeon segment?

I am not sure what you mean Crunk... Nothing should be ticking down unless you started the boss encounter, which you shouldn't until the dragon is full health first. Please make sure you AREN'T dismissing until the dragon is completely healed.

Maybe I should try to make a video after Tuesday's reset showing this. It's incredibly easy, and I think people will see that if visualized.

Did this just a little while ago on US servers.
Basically what you do is:
1. Walk into Valithria's room
2. Control Undead one of the four Lich mobs, the encounter will not start
3. Bring the mob outside of her room from where you came in from, release, and kill. The encounter still doesn't start.
4. Repeat with 2 more Liches, now there's only 1 left in the room.
5. Control Undead the last Lich and then start bandaging Valithria. The encounter still shouldn't have started. The bandage heals her for 10% of her health on 25H, so it takes 5x bandaging with a 1 minute debuff, so 5 minutes to heal her up to full.
6. Once she's full health, release the lich and kill it.
7. Encounter starts and ends immediately because she's full health.
8. Collect loots

so with this way you can do it on HC with bandages too?
