found the same effect a few weeks ago. but with different debuffs. so there is prob. a lot of potential in this exploit.
we need to find some more "good" debuffs

mine:
1. outside garrison (north) find a spot between phasing in your garrison and your main realm.
2. pull a Glacial Icemaw and let it cast "belch frost" on the ground.
3. get debuff and jump into your "garrison phase" a few meter away.
4. debuff stays onto you until you go into another belch frost debuff.

this debuff mechanic also works with other "on the ground" effects!
i just took a short wowhead search and tested some other npc's with similar effects

In which Spell Category does Sprite Ward belong to on wowhead? I would like to test some more buffs.^^ I found one that grants you 20% extra dmg but you take 20% more dmg too.

Whenever you phase with a damage increase, haste increase, stat increase, damage reduction and even damage taken increases, etc etc... the game client checks to see if your stats have been modified and it self resolves it by removing those buffs.

For whatever reason Sprite Ward is an outlier, but of the 30 or so others that I have checked this doesn't work, also you can just hearth with sprite ward you don't need to waste your time getting the debuff from the serpent. There may be some other special stuff you can pull off with these, but alas so far I have found nothing, and I have checked a LOT. I was checking these BEFORE this was posted...

That it's not spreading faster than now because anyone can read it and sooner or later it gets fixed. There are many Buffs that are great but blizz can't ignore that so they will fix it when they get aware of it

well take the ashran of the green pits for example, in the swamp +50% dmg done and taken.
