Stillt works, EU.
Tried it few minutes ago.
Sometimes it will not work.

It DOES work. Just not everytime. I think those claiming they bought something without loosing gold is just trolling us.

Not at home atm but you can try something like sending gold to your alt.
Put the gold into mail and when skirmish inv pops out click on send like 0.5sec after you used that macro.

If AH thing works I don't see a reason why this wouldnt work, just in this case you are not risking and spending gold on something you dont need.
I know its a theory but perhaps someone can try it out since it will be a long time until i get back home from work

It works, but can't use my spells while offline...
AH doesn't work for me, and I have no idea why.
Tried sending gold to my alt.. no results

Ah, turns out my macro had that sneaky speech mark at /logout

Whats weird about this is that some things will still complete even if you do them while offline, but it will kind of queue things up and then complete when you log back in. I tried to complete the quest for seals and it was just frozen, and i created an artifact nothing happened, but when I logged back in that was the first thing that was completed.

this did make me stuck on a loading screen like i had to get a GM to get me unstuck! but i did have a load of fun with it running to the end of draenor etc!

That's normal. You can login, when your character is offline (it takes 30minutes).
Play while with yout alt.
