WoW Mount/Loom/Pet/Achi Duplication via banned account

So after being banned several months back for seemingly no reason at all (Gold selling was the reason given), I decided to jump back in for the hell of it, this happens to be the third time i've come back so far this year. I'm basically an addict at this point.

With this in mind, I decided to start anew on my banned account simply using a new license, seeing as the email I used for the banned account was my main one, and I decided to have no involvement with anything against the terms of service on the account. After creating a new license and attaching it to my old banned account, I logged in with my free month and got to playing, when something hit me... I still had all my account wide things from my banned account? Surely something wasn't in order there, the account was banned and the new license I had only had a level 1 with nothing on it; except for all my old mounts, looms, achievements, pets, and more.

To say the least, I was stunned by this, and came to a realization, if this works consistently, (I have only tested this once, be in mind). That means that you could duplicate these account bound items on to new licenses, even if the main license is banned.

In simpler terms, if I have an old account that got accidently banned in wrath with a black qiraji mount, and I want that qiraji back, I can simply make a new license on that banned account, the mount will copy over, then sell the account with a level 1 and a black qiraji for several thousand dollars. WHICH MEANS one could simply buy battle.net attached banned licenses on the low low and resell them with whatever carries over after attaching a battle chest.

My proof of this concept is as follows, I have been playing off my battlechest free month (As in the picture below), and have a level 100 along with a few higher level characters. WoW3 is the new active account with my new characters I leveled on it, while WoW2 is a banned license from around january of this year with a molten core mount, and around 4k achievement points.

    Duping - Album on Imgur

I need more input to say whether or not this is a consistent thing (works for all banned licenses) however it worked for me, your mileage may vary. Good luck.

I am not positive but I think any account that was banned before they added in the account wide features would transfer their items/mounts etc to the new account. I could of course be wrong but I think it only applies to items/mounts etc that were linked when these features were available.

Could very well be right, the date on the ban is roughly 1/30/15 if this helps anyone.
In any case it's still fairly interesting. If this turns out not to be an exploit feel free to delete or move the thread mods.

It's intended that you can keep your mounts/achievs/pets/some titles on all of your WoW licenses even if the main one is banned. It's been like that for at least 3 years...

I can confirm this is true. I attached a starter edition account to my banned account and I still got my 24k+ achievs points 150 FoS+ 800 pets 240+ mounts (I only lose the pvp ones) and all toys in a lvl 1 character. So if you are trying to sell it or whatever you can do it. I'm still apealing my ban so idk what will happen. 19 days ticket of "investigation" I think they just ****ing me.... right?

Your wotlk theory wouldnt work, due to account wide achievements not being active then (which was the last patch in cata) The account/character with the achievements needs to be logged in to stamp everything to your bnet account.

This is why unmerged accounts were so popular, since you could merge and log them in, sharing everything across your bnet.

Although mounts and stuff gets shared across your bnet account, I think they stay with the license that originally got them if you transfer anything to a potential buyer (might be wrong).
Example: main licence has mount X. Opening a new license grants access to it since it's on the same bnet. When new license is moved they will lose the access.

As for the account you mentioned you got banned because of "gold selling", this is the reason they used to perm ban me when I used a proxy to play wow. If you did use one around the time being banned, you should check it out.

I have always used cyberghost, so i'll surely look into it, I thoroughly appreciate the help in that.
However when I really got down to understanding how this works, considering the way the permissions work that you speak of, theoretically if you have an account that got banned just like mine yada yada yada and you make a new bchest on it yada yada yada, you could simply sell the account as a whole with your ID and such intact. This could work if your main account gets banned and you want to scavange whatever money you can out of it. Which I suppose yes, isn't an exploit, however it surely is useful.

So yes, license transfers may or may not duplicate the items, however selling the account as a whole would work.

Can you transfer a banned wow license into a fresh bnet account ? Then afterwards buy a new wow license and enjoy the content of the banned account ?

I appealed right away, humbly, and got my account reopened the same day. It seems that a lot of gold sellers use proxy services, hence why they would have thought you were one of them (at least the reason the GM I spoke to gave me). The Gm I spoke to also informed me that using proxy services was in violation of one of those agreements (can't remember the darn name).

As for selling the account as a whole, that would be a nice way to use the feature. Although it's great that you are sharing this, I believe it fits better in the guides section

yea as everyone else said, as long as you open a new license on the same old account, all your mounts, achieves, ect will still be there. This is intended and not an exploit

I guess a correction is in place; mounts, pets, achievements and smiliar that was aquired on a battle.net account AFTER the account wide thing was put in place. So, if you have sick achieves or mounts from vanilla, on a banned acc, you wont get them on new accs. The accounts needs to actually have logged in to get the stuff added.

Example: I have the hairloom ring on my banned account. The acc got banned 1 month before hairlooms got acc wide. The new acc i made does NOT have access to the ring, in order to get that, I would have to log into the old acc for it to register.
