Deployable tent griefing.

I searched and didn't find anything on this, so I figured I might as well post it here for anyone who didn't already know about these things and just how many you can have out.




This is very easy to do. You simply need a lvl 2 tannery with a follower to craft the tents for 5 raw beast hides each. Make whichever kind you want and mail 1 of each of them to each alt you plan to use. Then just log all of the alts out at the same place, then log them in one after another and deploy as many tents as possible before they start to vanish. You can get to about 50 pretty easily.

Also, you can use Aspect of the fox or other abilities to put these inside of buildings. You must start the cast outside while using the move while casting ability, and then move to the new destination during the cast. i do not have a full list of what abilities work beyond fox as I don't play those classes.

Unintended use of game mechanics = exploit so this "crap" absolutely belongs here. Just because it doesnt get you a mount or a gratuitous amount of gold doesnt mean its not an exploit.

Another thing to do with tents, you can use fox and a glider from the flight ceiling to drop them on an enemy city without actually risking yourself. I may try bombing Org later, though the aim will be tricky from so far up. Been practicing in Goldshire.

The most you can get to on 1 toon is 21, but the problem with that is some of them are awfully small. I picked out the 12 largest tents and sent them to 5 characters. The first set of tents had begun disappearing though by the time I had finished the last.
