Dude Great Script... Always strafed but i always thaught it would take longer than running xD btw... I used the strafe code for AutoIt and It threw me off a cliff in Azshara when my sister asked me a question lol

For those asking how to use it:

1. Download autoit V 3 and install it from AutoIt Script Home Page
2. Make a new autoit script (right click on your desktop and go to create new, then autoit script)
3: copy and paste source onto the new autoit script
4: save, exit out of the script.
5: Right click on the script icon and press run
6: now go into WOW, and whenever you're gonna die or need to run away from mobs, press V (It's already hotkeyed to V, you dont need to do anything.) Press V again to turn it off. if you want to exit out of the script completely press ESC, or right click on the autoit icon in your taskbar and press exit.

Note(s):
1.This WILL NOT work for macs, dont even try downloading autoit.
2.This isn't a hack, it wont change the game in anyway, it only is a sort of "bot" that simulates key strokes. Mobs won't be able to follow you after you turn this script on.
3.This doesn't work against other players.
4.If you try to chat while "strafe mode" is on, you will get lots of "q"s and "e"s in what you're trying to say. (bug i didn't bother to fix, seeing as how most people have strafe bound to q and e.)

First off strafing was fixed ohh...10 patches ago? The mobs no longer follow the path you set, they were fixed to run straight at you no matter which way you go. So running in a straight line is by far your best bet.

Secondly, this is highly against the tos as it is an automated script that repeats it self. That's the same thing as saving your mouse clicks to cast a spell and repeating it over and over, or having an auto runner to run you around av to stay in combat. Anything that is automated in WoW will get you perma banned.

You are risking nothing, a person just spamming q and e keys while running makes the same effect so if you are afraid of ban this way - better not even touch these keys
As for is it fixed or not - me and the tank I'm usually doing heroics with is always kidding with mobs this way and they do follow, so it may be fixed somewhere...
