[Minor] Portaling your low level alts to anywhere using your own mage
Not really huge unless your an altoholic like myself. Requires you to have a mage with the portal to where you want to go.
Original theory credit to OP of: http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/worl...nt-needed.html (Using the same raid lockout Every Week to farm rare mounts! No Second Account Needed!)
1. Log onto your mage, and park it where you plan on having your alt be. Create a Premade group and check the 'Auto Join' box.
2. Cast the portal to wherever you want to go.
3. Log onto your alt, search for the group you made, join it, and enter the portal.

I'd call it an exploit, normally you can't take your own portals, with this you can. Doing something they specifically made sure you couldn't, don't see how it can get any more exploity.

+1 rep imo.
I would say this was NOT intended, this is only been uncovered due to the groupfinder mechanic and is not a freely available technique or blizz would have made it more straightforward.

The 3rd one. How do i do that, my alt is in uldum while my mage is in orgrimmar. I cast a portal to orgrimmar on my mage, also made a group and clicked auto accept. I went on my alt and joined and now what? there is no portal

No. I did this years ago by being in a group with a friend, opening a portal on my mage, relogging my alt, getting invited and using my own portal. This is ages old and definitely not an exploit.

You are not talking over the samething... here we don't need anyone to do the exploit... you can do it alone, that's why it isn't supposed to happen, not involving a tierce person!

It definitely is an exploit because Blizz did not intend for you to be able to use your mage to make portals for your alts on the same account. Go ahead and ask them if you need proof

lol'd abit.
It doesnt matter who's in the grp, if its only you or with a friend, the portal stays up for 1 minute no matter what, and aslong as you are in the grp as the mage(your mage) in that 1 minute frame you're good to go to use it, and it has always been like that.
