Insane attack power for tanks

Since Wod some old low-level items have been reconfigured and are producing excessive amounts of bonus armor, a stat which increases the attack power of tanking classes on a 1 for 1 basis.

A set can be accumulated of low-level items with bonus armour which can allow you to totally dominate pvp below max level. Some examples of the type of damage you can do:

However its not how much bonus armour the item has that matters but how well that scales up. For example, the violet signet has 51 bonus armour but scales to 295 in 90-99 bg's.

Additionally many of the items in the list are very difficult to obtain for various reasons. In this video below I show you the easiest items to pick up and exactly how to get them.

It could potentially be an exploit, it depends on how much "insane attack power" actually is, etc.

Like I remember a sword that dropped in WotLK and you could give it to a level 1 when it was a level 70 something grey sword- Yeah it was in the game, but it wasn't intentional by Blizzard.

I added some screenshots of bg stats showing a dk doing eight times as much damage as any one else in AV, to the original post. That doesn't seem like Blizzard intended it.

If any one is smart enough to work out who the dk is please respect his privacy.

This totally works and it is by far an exploit. Bonus armor = 1 ap = 1 strength.

I found a ring that had 108 bonus armor, it went to 668 bonus armor in PvP. A 668 strength ring on a lvl 95 is pretty neat I'd say.


Advanta: Any guide as to how you deal so much damage as a blood DK? I'm doing good damage, only got most of the parts, and I have rough 6.1k AP as lvl 90.

I got my dk a full set of bonus armor gear minus shoulders, bracers, and boots. The stats look pretty good attack power is about double and with extra armor take around 25% less damage than i would with my reg gear. However my secondary stats are all lacking now. When I get home from work ill put it to the test and if it goes well will drop a vid on it. But just going off the stats I think it will just be a slight performance increase but nothing like god mode.
Thanks for the post, regardless if it is considered an exploit or not. I'd imagine its not intended by blizz and will be nerfed eventually.

I came across a DK last night in the 60s bracket using this. I knew he was doing some exploit cause he did 10 times the amount of damage as everyone else. Now I know. Thanks.
