possible pvp exploit?

First of all, I did't confirm this.

My friend who play WOW from open beta has an item named "Jewel of kajaro".

Jewel of Kajaro - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft

It has a great option "Equip: Reduces the cooldown of Counterspell by 2 sec."

And as we know, It will be scaled up to item level 650 in level 100 PvP.

This is a necklace. it is also good. We dont have to sacrifice set item options.

2 things.

1 Items under a certain I-LVL will not be scaled up at 100 pvp

2 this would not be an exploit because it is an item doing what it is supposed to do. even if it did scale up, it will not increase the cool down time past 2 seconds.

It's not a setbonus... even though this may be intended, thanks for sharing (at least if it works)! I bet most people don't know about it.

this is wrong unless they changed it in wod, excuse me if so, but in mop certain set bonuses were working such as the rogue set that let you do a 8sec kidney as sub, was working wonders for ninia capping and long stuns in arenas/rbg

This item is no longer available within the game. It's not a set bonus, but it is not a main or secondary stat either and won't scale.

There is a lot of wrong in this thread, so I'll clarify.

1. OP wasn't claiming the 'bonus' itself would scale, just that the item stats would scale and the bonus on a 650 item would outweigh a 675-690 item's better stats. This is wrong anyway, because such a low ilvl item will not scale up to 650. Only items like 550 and above to scale to 650.

2. Someone said PvE set bonuses don't function anymore in PvP. We have no way of knowing that. There are not yet PvE set bonuses in WoD, and in MoP they did work in random BGs, and were only disabled in RBGs/Arenas.

3. Post is a theory / item no longer obtainable anyway.

But one thing is obvious; I saw the necklace in my friend's inventory yesterday. It's exist in game.

Items marked "This item is no longer available within the game" usually means they don't remove existed pieces from players but it's no longer obtainable within the game.
