I posted this awhile ago on MMO champion. I'm not sure if it still works or if it was patched ( there seems to be some phasing issues now ).
- Basically. Control the Undead/Demon you want.
- I'll use Control Undead as an example.
- Then, there is a move command, so you can move the pet to where ever you want on the pet bar.
- First of all, move the mob as far in front of you as possible, the mob should now be running towards that direction.
- Now, run in the opposite direction of where you sent the mob. So if you sent the mob north, run south.
Eventually the mob will stop being under your control, and won't despawn, but rather, the mob will run back to where you originally sent it from and stay there as a Threat Target that can attack both alliance and horde for some time. ( On same faction ). I used this on some lowbies in Goldshire in my own faction and it was pretty hilarious.
Its a minor exploit, but it should still work if I'm correct. Just do what I said above. But like I said. I had some phasing issues lately though. Sorry guys, I have no wowtime, so I can't check if it still works, tell me if it still does.
*Confirmed for myself ( Still have couple hours left of WoWtime ). Still works. Although zones may be locked to your controlled minions due to phasing despawn.
*Confirmed that bringing the mob out of its zone now despawns the mob when you attempt this unfortunately. So it may be zone restrictive and patched.
