Skip Ashran q *new*

Hello!

Apparently the old method got fixed last wednesday so I will share a new method to skip the q.
The idea of my method is not to bug the q but to prevent the backport to Stormshield.
In practice when you enter Ashran and block the ip of Stormshield , you get "instance not found - transfer aborted" and you stay in Ashran until you unblock the ip.

If you dont know how to find the ip of Stormshield or use Peerblock i recommend reading this guide (Peerblock and you - A guide to exploit CRZ)


So here it is:

1. Go to Stormshield, tab out and open the console with cmd. Type in the command from the guide and find the ip
2. Start peerblock and add the ip to the block list. Make sure to block all possible ips from 1 to 255.
3. When peerblock is rdy go to Ashran and tell peerblock to block the ip(s).
4. Now you can stay in Ashran as long as you want. When you want to leave just close peerblock and you will get ported out automatically.



Negative about the method: You will frequently get the q message and 0,5sec loadscreens every 20-30sec but it's fine to kill the boss etc and it's better than sitting in q for hours

Something weird I found: If you die in Ashran you get insta rezzes at the graveyard i.e. you skip the rezz timer as well

Confirmed, works EU.

- You can enter with alts, with this method.
- And if you die, wait till the game want's to kick out of Ashran, you will be alive with 100% life.

confirmed working US. Just did it on a horde toon to avoid 2-3 hr wait. Note: if you join a raid you will be booted out. Also if an event happens to tick over during you annoying little attempted to port out 1/2 sec loading screen you wont get the cp. Good find.+1

Note: if you join a raid you will be booted out.

Joining a raid doesnt affect the method at all. (Atleast for me.) Whats happens exactly when you join the raid?

No clue about oceanic servers but when they have crz the method should work.

It does work in oceanic, although the instance aborted mini-zoning screen spam is more like every 5 seconds than every 30

i got ips of 5.42.165.97 and 100 with port 3724.

blocked them but ashran still ports me out back to warspear.

checked the ips while i was in warpsear and enabled peerbloc as well.

dont tink its working at all.

Got it to work on Oceanic realms.

Use netstat -n | find ":3724" in cmd while in Warspear/Stormshield to get your IP's, you should get 2 IP's, when you zone into Ashran you will get a 3rd with Establishing, this IP needs to be exempt from the 1 to 255 range. Enable peer block after walking into Ashran, the once establishing IP will become enabled.

After a bit of testing it appears joining the raid will remove you from Ashran, this might have something to do with the leader being from another realm.

Its actually unplayable to the point of only being able to use it to complete the daily for the epic lockbox, the load screen will pop up every 5-15secs and hang for anywhere between 10-20secs on the load screen.
