Doesn't work for me. Think i've figured out why. This method works if you get into a CRZ ashran, in which case, blocking your servers IP AFTER you enter ashran in a CRZ ashran will prevent you from being ported back to your own servers stormshield/warspear. On my server, the times I do get into ashran legitimately, i've never seen anyone from another server, which is why this doesn't work for me.

Basically to test if you've set up peerblock correctly, simply go to your garrison, turn on peerblock, and enter the port to stormshield/warspear. If it says Transfer aborted, instance not found, then it is set up correctly.

Still working fine for me on multiple US realms... though the loading screen every 10 seconds is very annoying. Still, in a good raid group, I can just stand on the bridge and load up on honor and bones without breaking a sweat.

I changed the 49 to 1 starting and 255 ending and it didn't do anything. Am I doing something wrong? In the walkthrough both of the IPs had different numbers, both of mine are 49.

I read both threads multiple times. Darn.


While in stormshield, I opened command prompt and typed:

netstat -n | find ":3724"


Those 2 sets of numbers came up.

not working

i got ips of 5.42.165.97 and 100 with port 3724.

blocked them but ashran still ports me out back to warspear.

checked the ips while i was in warpsear and enabled peerbloc as well.

dont tink its working at all.

I just found out that this is the same case for me. ashran has the same ip like warspear for me. so there is no way of getting in right now.

I'm just going to post this here, I don't think it really needs a new thread and I'm not sure it really counts as an exploit but it does get around the problem this exploit is letting you get around:

Basically, go to elwynn/durotar, which is widely cross-realmed. Get a random guy from a server who's ashran is low pop on your faction to invite you (may or may not need to be 100). Go walk into ashran for instant queue.

Works in oceanic 100% - I don't know the groupings for US servers. I am not the OP in the blizzard thread.

It's interesting to see just how bad the grouping is, I really don't understand why they have done it this way...

taking the balance on wowprogress (cause realmpop is updating kinda slow)
Ashran A is 8000 Alliance | 1518 Horde or 0.19 Horde per 1 Alliance
Ashran B is 5766 Alliance | 18918 Horde or 3.28 Horde per Alliance

The only explanations that make any sense for those groupings are that there are hardware concerns or that they want ashran to be unbalanced...

anyway. No more queues, at least for oceanics!

anyway how to skip que on EU? i tried to phase on another server and join ashran, but if I leave that crz group I get ported back to warspear...

edit: no idea why they dont make it regular battleground - no point of having it outdoor when you still have to wait in que
