Easier WoD Brawl'gar Arena.

Hi guys, I was currently testing if getting to rank 8 @ Brawl'gar Arena was possible, I found that it was kinda difficult to pass Rank 7. The Dark summoner & Ahoo'ru were pretty hard. And were really gear check bosses. So I tried to find a way to do more damage. I can confirm that Last Deck of Nemelex Xobeh - Item - World of Warcraft works in the arena, you just need to be patient for the right buff to appear, I am sure that its not "Intended" for this to work.

Buffs:
Wrath => Critical strike chance increased by 100%. 2 minutes remaining
Devastation => Damage dealt increased by 100%. 2 minutes remaining
Nimbleness => Haste increased by 50%. 2 minutes remaining
Swiftness => Movement speed increased by 50%. 5 minutes remaining
The Herd => The Herd => Summons many cows to fight for you. 10 minutes remaining

Debuffs:
Frailty => Physical damage taken increased by 100%. 1 minute remaining
Vulnerability => Magical damage taken increased by 100%. 1 minute remaining

Neutral:
The Void => Invulnerable. Unable to act. 1 minute remaining
The Warp => Causes you to randomly blink. 2 minutes remaining
The Barbarian => Berserk => Causes you to randomly go berserk, increasing damage dealt and damage taken. 5 minutes remaining

It's not intended to use items in "Brawler's Guild", so it's an exploit.

Doesn't seem very logical does it? However, there is a history of being allowed to use in op items like cracked talisman and the panda brews from TI in arena.
Cracked talisman allows you a full minute of invulnerability for example.

For this reason, odd as it may seem, Blizzard seems to have decided to allow any in-world item to be used in arena. You wouldn't have thought they'd allow this though an entire expansion.

That said, nice post, +rep, but better off in guides I think.

If you get 100% Crit buff, you will most likely two shot everything and get lot of ACMS and stuff, if thats not an exploit, then I am chuck norris.

I wish. A 100% crit buff will just do slightly less than double damage in the absence of other modifiers. Crits do double damage, but some of your hits will crit anyway. As stated before, there are existing plays which are stronger.

I've had plays like this before and you'd be surprised how little actual difference it makes. Most of the difficult fights in Brawlers are designed to require
optimal tactics with dps only a tangential consideration.

And yes, of course it works. Why not check it yourself. I'm not aware of any item that can be used in the world generally that doesn't work in Brawlers.

Actually i got the 100% crit buff against the dark summoner and I killed him in less than 10 seconds... It does make a huge differnce having 100% instead of 25-30% crit chance. Specially for melee..

So... i suppose this makes it AN EXPLOIT and not what people said in the first posts... Cheers all, i can confirm it still works..

Not so much an "exploit" but more of a "tip", whereas it is an oversight by Blizzard allowing that, they also encourage the use of items and buffs from all over. The Brawler's Guild isn't competitive, it's more of a personal test. A bit ago you could use the Nuclear Launch for 500k damage, might still be that way really.

It helps to use items like this, but realistically, it isn't an exploit, and they won't fix this probably because it's Brawler's Guild, it'd be different if it were usable in arena because that's actually a competitive scene.

There are plenty of oversights on Blizzard's end which have allowed for some very beautiful, stupid, or pointless things to occur. You only make it an exploit by taking use and control of it existing; otherwise it's just a 'feature'

To all above, try not to discredit a find just because it isn't game breaking. People have different needs, interests, and uses for this site.

I'm really curious how an item thats -INTENDED- to give 100% crit, then using that item in Brawlers guild that effects nothing besides ranking up and getting a single achievement is an exploit and not a guide.

Not to argue with your post, as it is a good one, but I should point out that Brawler's Guild has always had different rules
from arena, which has the most restrictions of any aspect of warcraft, even raids. This dates from the moment BG opened.

For this reason I'm reasonably sure Blizzard always intended items usable in the world generally to be useable in BG. The only
exceptions are items specific to a zone within an instance. They would surely have fixed this before wod came out if not before.

However, if people feel this is a genuine exploit, great! I have a ton of stuff I can post on this. I should warn you that this could
be a very long list of stuff though, because, as I said, any item useable in world is useable in BG, even items, spellsteals and
buffs stretching back into Burning Crusade. Dozens of tricks on my channel can be used for example. What do others think?

Btw This isn't an attack on the op, great find, I'm just seeking clarification from the community.
