Confirmed to work.

If you would like a 100% chance of this working:
* use this item as soon as it prompts you with "Would you like to join Ashran" message [or whatever it is].
* ride as far as you can possibly go
* when it says "Sorry mate you're not allowed in Ashran yet" or whatever it is, don't do anything
* you'll either get invited to the Ashran group or get ported out.
* if you get ported out, wait ~ 30-60 seconds; it'll invite you 9 times out of 10.

got it to work on my DK but shaman is a no go...even with the horn lol

Still working, less room for error after the hotfixes though.
Before it was like, accept que at 18-20sec and you got in instantly, now you have to accept que exactly at 20sec or you get ported out. (Might be that if I would just wait after that I would get invited in 1min or so, like Rozayz suggested.)
