I didnt take it from wowhead, I found it while trying to do the achievement the "legit" way, if someone posted it on wowhead he probably copied it from this post
As you can see my post was made 11 hours ago and the wowhead comments were made 3-6 hours ago..

I did see a wowhead comment predating your contribution however as you can see on achievement page currently, wowhead staff decided to remove any comments containing such methods. However, the mmo-champion thread still contains the logout method original post.

Best to create a human for this, Lvl1 this will not get you killed from fall dmg especially if it's a rouge + Lvl1's have a high amount of regen.. The more you do it the more rings will spawn the easier it becomes. Hope this helps.

btw.
- you can take the spirit rezz debuff to heal u up quicker... if ur class have less or no healing spells (healed me up with food^^)
*repost* | - activate pvp to have ur own set of rings (atleast on pve idk if this works on pvp)

Macro for doing all the stuff in one click

/click StaticPopup1Button1
/logout
/click GossipTitleButton4

Speak to the NPC then press the macro. No need to cancel logout after falling down. Rinse and repeat.

BTW to confirm, if others are grabbing rings while you are logging out and going up, those rings go away. so the ones after the first 3 on the roof will likely be 1-3 always. After that, look for the rings of fire that appear to be more noticeable, or brighter so to speak.

Still working, if you aren't getting the toy make a new character *human* on a different language server.

Get wings once, cancel the buff so you get slowfall.
Talk to the NPC, type /logout etc etc

You don't have to make a level 1 char, the hassle is too much for that
