Farm "Precious' Ribbon" in ICC with your alt's.

Currently, you are able to go to "Icecrown Citadel" with level one characters and it's a great way to farm "Precious' Ribbon - Item - World of Warcraft" with your alt's..

1. How do you want to get to this mob with a lvl 1 character?
2. How do you want to kill him if you are there? I mean, you're lvl 1!
3. If you get the Ribbon you have to level this alt to 90?

It kind of does. How is a level 1 going to kill anything in ICC? You can't. Neither can you go with anyone since level 1s can't join raid groups.

Also the ribbon is BOP so you can't sell it or send it to your main. Why would I want to make a level 1 alt just so it could wear a shirt?

with scripts or addons like leatrix plus level 1s can join raid groups. you drag them through with "their" lockout

I hadn't heard of that, I suppose that would work but it still seems like a huge amount of time and trouble just for a chance to get a shirt for a level 1. :P

/run SetAllowLowLevelRaid(true)

Use that on the low level, you can make raids with it/join raids etc. I do it all the time.

As for the op, this has been around since the start of 5.3 or 5.4 i think. There was band of level 70s that woudk raid icc, i personally have been boosted through icc at level 32. You can enter any raid as a low level as long as it has a herioc mode and the booster enters first.

That's not true. Try it with other raids. Level one characters cannot entrace raids. Only "Icecrown Citadel" works.

Collectors do silly things for items like this all the time. And not really, get 2 friends, make level 1, summon, kill precious, make another level one , summon, kill precious...
