[Leveling] Fast 89->90

I just discovered that at level 89 pet battles against 23-25 lvl wild pets grant around 30k experience per battle won. In the Valley of Four Winds you can win pet battle every 2 minute or so. The most of exp you get if you could win pet battle with a lower level pet, i.e. your lvl 20 cat vs team of lvl 25 criters.
I believe this is the fastest method of leveling 89-90 with all these recent nerfs.

That doesn't seem right, battling level 25 vs level 25 I was only getting about 10k per win just last weekend. Although 10k is still faster than questing. 30k doesn't seem right unless it just got buffed with 6.03

It works on level 89 only. At level 88 i was getting about 10k per pet battle today (6.0.3). At level 89 pet battle gave 27-38k per each battle.

If you can take a picture of your exp bar, as the only way you would be getting 30k xp per battle was from rested exp.

Pet battles are unaffected by rest exp.

i think if you use like 3 24 pets against 25 pets and win you get more exp

In my experience pet battles scale to roughly the same amount as 1 level appropriate quest turn in. So at level 1 we're talking about like 300-400exp, at level 85+ like 10k exp.

I tried this earlier today on my 89 Orc Monk and was getting just under 30k xp a battle. Same place with an 89 Troll Druid hours later and I was getting just under 10k per battle. Either they hotfixed it or the trigger is something other than the level.

This probably had something to do with the messed up exp scaling (related to how people were able to power level yesterday) and is most likely fixed now.
