Like it was mentioned earlier, it's been like that forever. Mythic (old heroic) uses specific raid ids instead of just a general boss lockout like heroic(old normal) used to, meaning at any given time players with the same raid id will be able to enter the instance until there are 20 inside.

Is there really no gain here? or is it possible to still get heirloom? for example, use my main to ask assist from gleader on garrosh heroic, invite a ilvl 450+++ alt, gleader then notices so he kicks us both, then stay in the room and do the trick, kill boss, will we still get loot?
