BM Hunter's Multi-Shot Exploit!!

Dear community,

This is my second contribution to the community...

I researched about this exploit but didn't find anything written about it...

I've noticed this exploit since like 2 months ago when I started farming the goats in valley of the four winds...

The exploit is about the hunter's ability called Multi-Shot that requires 40 focus to cast & while using it in BM spec your pet will AOE cleave all the surrounding mobs, however when you run out of focus you won't be able to cast it...

But if you keep casting Multi-Shot without having enough focus your pet will still cast its aoe cleave ability on the mobs

So basically if you are AOE farming keep spamming Multi-Shot even if you don't have enough focus...

I wasn't able to replicate this. hmm. could be a misread on my part.

What pet were you using? what spec( for the pet) ?

Doesn't the cleave work for a few hits? I thought multi-shot caused your pet to cleave for 3-4 seconds.

"Beast Cleave: After you Multi-Shot, your pet's melee attacks and their multistrikes also strike all other nearby enemy targets for 75% as much for the next 4 seconds" [id:115939]

So this is not an exploit unless it will refresh the duration without spending focus.
OP please clarify.

I'm using a spirit beast & ferocity for sure

Tested many times doesn't work. Once the Buff - Beast Cleave falls off even while spamming Multi Shot without Focus required it stops cleaving(watching MSBT). The instant you Multi Shot with focus and it gains the buff it starts cleaving again.

I tested it a lot in Firelands yesterday before posting it here, I target the mob with Multi-Shot while not having enough focus then the pet goes to the mob & starts cleaving...
