A ret pally trick

I am tired of people being asses to mods here, apparently their 5 posts and 1 rep make them better than mods.

Weapons you can, armor you cannot. Besides for 50 dps, if I was that concerned that I needed to make a macro to do 50 dps more, I would do 1 of 2 things.

1) Respec to heal on a paladin since its really what there good at imho and never dps again.

2) Reroll any other class since it will out dps a ret pally.

lol are you kidding me? the only reason why pallies have a reputation for only being good healers is that 85% of the people who play the class don't know how to play the class for shit. 2 paladins that do know how to play however, are on Lightninghoof alliance. Excaliber, and Alorianna. Excaliber will be as high as any mage/warlock in the raid. And Alorianna can build more threat than any warrior and tank as well as any other tanking class. Armory them. They put the effort into actually learning the crit, crush, mitigation %'s that they need as a paladin. The other pally posers gtfo

LOL you are saying that what I say is false yet let me quote for you "will be AS high as any mage or warlock" further they had to in your opinion learn all about "crit, crush, mit, and %'s needed" why in the hell would I EVER roll a pally to do = damage while working my a** off to learn the class, when I could roll a lock and mash my head against the keys and still do equal dmg to your oh so leet ret pally.

And further, 85% (god only knows where that number came from) of pallies healing and doing a damn good job of it, does not prove that they cant play their class, more so that they realize the COMMON demand of a pally in raid.

With two dps classes (Lock and Rogue) Just finishing off hyjal, I can say that outta the 3 pallies we use, they will never dps, and that sure is hell isn't from lack of skill.
the #1 raid guild in the world uses a pally to heal, but Im sure he needs to gtfo too.

Oh and I never doubted pallies can tank, I personally dont think they make a good first choice as a MT, since you have to give then marginally larger amount of time to gain initial agro, slowing initial burst dmg of your dps classes on all trash and slightly on bosses.
