No level restriction on talents (level 90 talents at any level!)

The restriction of "Unable to learn talent" seems to be linked to the number of talents available (at level 45 you can have a maximum of 3 talents learned). The addon isn't required, simply

/run LearnTalents(#)

where # is the talent index. Starting from 1 (1st talent on first row) to 18 (last talent on last row)
e.g. /run LearnTalents( 18 ) would give me Elemental Blast as a level 15 shaman, assuming I never picked a level 15 talent.

I would be careful for anyone that uses this. WoD is coming out, blizzard would be more than happy to mass ban, and gain the money right back within WoD launch. Awesome exploit and really hilarious that there's no server side check for talent requirements.. GG +9 rep

You can also simply use this macro instead of the addon. (Where it says 0 change the number by which talent you want by counting horizontal)

hunter 20 lvl, can learn e.g. "raven" talent, and can not learn other from same level. So seems it just some talents don't have check of level.

I tested it on a level 58 dk. Like someone said before, if you are 45+, the game allows you to have maximum 3 talents. You could have the first 2 tier and the last one. Beside that, most things said by VoTuUS is 100% legit.

Yup, I can only get higher-level talents approximately 30% of the time. I've tried it with about half of all classes.

Hey guys,

So, there's an addon called Quick Talents (Quick Talents - Class - World of Warcraft Addons - Curse) that allows you to select and change your talents at will. However, there doesn't seem to be any check on the talent level (but you do have to be level 15 in order to unlock the talent window).

As proof, check it out on my level 85 warrior.

Reset your talents:


Pick your talent from the addon :


You'll see it in your UI:


Talent on my bar:


And the buff active on my character :

I had this happen over a year ago with something PE did to change talents. I could only ever get it to work on my hunter, and you can't change your legit talents after you set the ones higher level than yourself until you clear all of them (at least that's the way it was at the time) but since I haven't used this method I don't know.

I can, however, confirm that it DOES work on US because I was able to do it multiple times on a BM/SV hunter.
