Instructions:

1 Go to Utgarde Catacombs and take quest "A Shining Light".
2. Er...that's it.

To just see the buff scoot to 2:40.


Buff lasts ten minutes and persists through all loading screen except (I assume) rbg and
arena.

Perhaps. I posted it here because it seems the vast majority of visual buffs are removed on leaving the zone, let alone into instances.
Technically, it is an effect rather than a disguise, eg it can't be copied with the skymirror.

Also worth mentioning that if you combine it with a translucent buff it lbecomes almost completely solid (a bit like a golden egg or
a lightbulb). This has various implications in pvp because you can literally blind people in the immediate vicinity, for example you
can block an fc from view.

That's using rime of the time-lost mariner.

Best results I got are using a sky-mirror to copy a tauren with the skymirror. Ethereal oil was disappointing, maybe
with multiple stacks.

Haven't tested this in instances but someone mentioned they could see it in Twin Peaks.
