Spellsteal exploit - a million in extra damage from stolen lightning shield

Instructions:

1. Find mob "ashtongue stormcaller". in BT.
2. Spellsteal.
3. Take somewhere else and get hit by things (quickly), do up to a million in extra damage before the shield
charges expire..

How do you manage to always find these exploits?

there has to be some certain way he uses the wowhead search engine. using the filter thing on wowhead doesn't show everything. Example - like I've found damage % increases that don't show up on the mod damage % filter thing. It's really weird. in fact the filter for it only shows a small fraction to how many there actually are. it's really odd.

I don't have any special magic search secrets unfortunately. I don't use wowhead search at all, I generally use google to search a site even when it has an internal search engine.

As you say, searching only gets you so far. A lot of the most interesting stuff is secondary/ tertiary effects of spells/adds which don't show up very well on search.

Most of the stuff I've found recently has been in-world.
