Farm Blood Coins killing your own alts! No multiboxing or multiples accounts required

You will need a fast method to force disconnection from the server, like killing a proxy connection or alt+F4 while keeping two instances of WoW running at the same time.

First, just to make sure, test if the trick is happening on your realm. I don't know if this is cause by latency or region, so, it's better test it first.

Put two of your characters (A and B) at the same place, where A can target B. Kill the connection or close the game (don't use "logout" or "exit game" options) and quickly login the other character. If you can see the other one still online (but client-orphan), then the trick works. You can use /dance on A and when you log in B, A will still be dancing.

If it worked, move A, B and other of your characters to Timeless Isle and put all of them at a remote location. The underwater cave below the frog zone, a high pillar or a fatigue region are good places. If you are going to farm blood coins with A, use the censer on A and log in other characters. Before change characters, let B naked and PvP flagged. They need to be naked due to the high PvP resilience. If you don't kill your alts fast, they disappear ~30 seconds after the disconnection.

It is not a fast way to get blood coins, but at least you won't need another players or multiple accounts.

You can use this trick to do other fun things, like coping an alt visual or having a rogue pickpocket (glyphed) a mogu or mantid and then copy its appearance.

In live. Killing someone yielding a coin will give the killed player a debuff which will not allow you to get any coins from killing him again for 10 minutes.
's insane how they expect you to get 10k bloody coins, Not to mention there is currently not even enough rewards to buy with that many coin.

It's not that hard on a PVE server. But, you need alts. lots of alts makes it faster. I found out that if you leave an alt in an Inn (like the one on Timeless Isle), and do not log on that alt for approximately 8 hours, the debuff wears off. So, farm your alts in the morning and in the evening for coins. I was farming 8 alts, twice a day and got my 500 coin mount in about 1 month. It took me about 15 minutes per 'round' to farm my alts. I could get two at a time out of the inn and log into my main to kill them. I only had people interfere with me twice in all the farming.

The trick is to not log on your alt for 8 hours.

Explanation on how to kill your own alt: Move your alt outside of the inn (you can't be in a "rest" area.) Exit the game, immediately (click "exit now" instead of waiting the 20 seconds to exit.) When you do this, your character will stay on the live server for about 40 seconds. You then open up the game again, log in your main character, and kill your alt. Your main character needs to be located close to where your alt was when you exited the game. You won't have time to move to the location if you are far away. You have about 20 seconds to kill your alt for your coin. Helpful hints: Flag pvp on your alt, otherwise you can't kill it with your main. take off all your gear on your alt, the lower HP you have, the faster you can kill it with your main.

If you are fast at logging in, you can move two alts out of the inn and have time to kill both. You will need a pretty well geared main and you should focus on the first alt that exited the game, then kill the second one. I could never kill three alts at the same time, because the first one would leave the environment at about the same time I could get logged on my main.

Actually it is very useful. I have 10 lvl90 alts on same realm, so it will take <10min to kill all 10 and get 10 coins. Indeed you get debuff but still you can get decent amount of blood coins/hour.
You only need 6 alts for that to get max amount per hour. So that's 6 initially and then 6 more coins/hour ( calculation 10min for each debuff ). For me that is quite nice since i play on semi dead realm....

Sorry i can´t see the point you are trying to make with the 6 alts.
The large amount of alts wont help you since you still need to be online 10 min separately with each one of em so why don´t you just use one instead?¨

10min isnt that much, considering each alt has professions and things to make/craft that will take some time. Also during those 10min you can do other things not connected to game, you just have to be online. And if what poster above said about leaving it in a in and logging back in 8 hours that helps a hold also. I have lots of alts spread on many realms, in total about 23. If i can get my alts to that same realm by inviting them and atl+f4 I can farm 50+ per day and I dont have to worry about getting killed.

Seems that its fixed, I killed my alts 6 times now and I received nothing. Yesterday it worked like charm
