Extra Lesser Charms and possibly more!

I was in desperate need of some Lesser Charms on my alt, so I traveled to Timeless Isle to kill some rares, and such to gather some. I noticed a mob of people 10+ killing a rare, and so i jumped right in and helped. Upon looting , the loot box popped up and it dropped various items. one key thing to mention is it dropped 6 lesser charms, along with other crap. When I checked my total lesser charms in my toon menu to see if i was close to 50 yet, i noticed i had many more then 50. so i opened my log box and I checked and noticed i received more then what the loot box actually said i got. (the boss loot said 6 but i recieved two seperate amounts. Lesser charms x 6 AND Lesser charms x54 !!) I did it again and again to ensure the steps I took before posting on this site. I was originally on my WW monk, but switched to my main and it worked again. So thats is how i confirmed it.

1. Ensure multiple people are killing the rare ( I was NOT in a party or raid at the time of the kills)
2. Kill rare as normal.
3. Do not auto loot or shift click, just simply right click as you were to loot normally.
4. Spam Right click, on the lesser charms IF SOME DROPPED. Fast fast fast click your heart out.
5. If the loot says (object busy) that means its working (this is the reason you need many people killing and looting the same rare).
6. Check to see if it worked.

I also uploaded image proof, but I am unable to post during kill and inital looting as its a very fast process, I hope this is valid enough.

Nice find. As you said really useful for alts, but seeing as my mage has almost 10,000 charms its kinda useless to me

Quick note about my initial post.
1. I am in US server.
2. I did not personally use any "external" application to do the inital trick (ie. lag programs) 'but it appears they help too based on 1 of the replies'

I understand theory's are not technically allowed, but I also believe this works with the regular timless coins as well, (YET TO BE VERIFIED). but My last rare before i logged off, I gained 6,250 from a rare. I do not kill them enough honestly to know how many is the "usual" amount of timeless coins drop. Nor have I avidly tested this specific theory. But rest assured I will the next time i log on and keep you all updated. Im very pleased that my very 1st post didnt get flamed, as I see so many that do on this site

Pretty sure timeless isle rares drop coins aswell as give you some for the intial kill

This is to TommyT, I originally thought that as well. But when I was testing this on multiple rares, i noticed the amounts gained were always the same increments. For example, if a rare dropped 9 initally, the 2nd amount given was a multiple of 9 ( like 81) for example. Same with 3 and 5 and 2. After many kills, it seemed to be the multiple of the original number, making it seem that it was using the inital number x (amt of clicks before the loot actually was put in your "bag"). But I agree RNG is very possible.

I tested on approx. 10 rares on my alt and about 3 or 4 on my main before posting.

I tested it again and took another photo , the lesser charm thing continues, but I did notice that I BELIEVE something is going on with the timeless coins as well. still not 100% sure on those though.

Sometimes when looting stacks of items the stacks are split. For instance: If the loot window says he dropped 100 coins, you could loot it and your chat could say that you received 54 AND 46 coins in 2 different lines.

exploit does indeed work with Timeless Coin's as well.

Another sidenote on the exploit, on weekly chests, if you loot then without autoloot, you will optain the lesser coins (if any) in them, and the chest dissapears, if you then close the loot window (or attempt to loot it) after the chest has dissapeared visually, you will gain the lesser coins once more. (useable with weekly chests atleast)

Using this would actually be nifty if you were to say kill archereus the flame from the terrace and a potion of knowledge dropped. I am curious if this method would work on that item. to say give you more than 1 when it dropped? Considering everyone that was attacking the mob would also have to possibility to loot one ( seperate looting options per player ) And if so get more than 1 potion with the shitty drop rate.

doesnt work, probably never did in the first place, one with weekly chests does however work, altho cant see myself running around collecting chests every week just for extra 10-15 charms a week
