unless it deals massive damage its pretty much useless as you cant change trinkets again inside arena i thought?

This item is special, you can use it to summon the dog, then change the trinket and the dog remains here. This can be do before the begining of the battle.

I think it could be a double edge blade, because it can be use as a "flood bonus" agains't your ennemy, but it can also be used agains't you, by your foe as a "fury/rage/burning embers generator". I play a classe which already use a pet, and i'm not abble to give orders to this 2nd pet.

So i think it's not a good idea to use it in arena. because the penalty is far superior than the bonus it could give.

alltho i almost forgott this, its always good to be reminded of usefull exploits, and anyone who say this is useless is useless because this is useful in rbgs since you can use the pet when defending and swap trinkets as you can do inside rbgs. cheers for causing me to remember this!

also going wowheading the item it turns out its no longer obtainable

"This item is no longer available within the game." so its pretty useless in the end... pfff

I didnt think you could control the pet it spawned anyways. i just remebered it being a hunter pet with agessive stance stuck on
