Roar of Sacrifice - Glyph of Stampede

Was just doing some 3's with my hunter and noticed if you pop Stampede, with glyph of stampede and use roar of sacrifice it will put 5 buffs of roar of sacrifice on you transferring 100% of all damage you take to your pets for 12 seconds.

    So in TLDR

    Glyph of Stampede

    Pop Zoo

    Use roar of sacrifice

take no dmg for 12 seconds.

Roar of Sacrifice only protects you from critical strikes, but as a consequence 20% of the damage you take is transferred to the pet. I think you've misinterpreted the tooltip.

    Just tried it.
Seems like it's just a visual glitch. You do get 5 Roar of Sacrifice buffs but you only benefit from one.

I'm aware of the 20% being transferred to the pet, thats the point, if the buff is there 5 times, then 100% of the dmg you take is taken by the pet. meaning you take no dmg.

Roar of sacrifice causes the pet to make you immune to crits, but also makes it take 20% of your dmg taken. It doesn't "share" or "transfer" the damage, the hunter still takes 100% of the dmg, the dmg just can't CRIT.

Even if you had 5 buffs, the only advantage would be the 20% dmg taken by the pet being shared to 5. (unless they all take 20%, in which case it wouldnt help at all).

    No benefit here, sorry.

Damn. If that worked, it would be perfect with the glyph that keeps your pet from dying while beastial wrath is up. All damage transferred to pet, then the pet not dying? Priceless.

Roar of Sacrifice - Spell - World of Warcraft
"but 20% of all damage taken by that target is also taken by the pet."
    taken, not redirected.
Good effort but it definitely doesn't work.
Speaking from experience in arena. (Also the Glyph of stampede doesn't matter, the visual happens anyway.)

More curious to know, if main pet Sac is on CD, can the Stampede provide Sac with the intended effect of stopping crits?

    edit:
Can't Roar of Sac from the Stampede while the main pet's Sac is on CD just tried on US Live
