[Priest] Drop Combat Instantly

The spell says you remain in combat but it doesn't, what does this mean? Priests have a way to drop combat!
This allows you to drop combat and start drinking in the middle of a fight make sure you dispel any DOTs you might have and drink up while you have an enemy Line of sighted or CC'ed.
I also find use for this as a miner I can drop onto a node surrounded by NPCs, Fear, Mine, then drop combat and mount up to move on.

I know other classes can break combat sometimes but this gives priests their own way. Plus it's every 30 seconds that you are able to do this!

This may not seem like much but the spell does say it keeps you in combat, which it doesn't.

Reminds me of some 3v3 Arena where the priest always dropped instant combat via Spectral ***** after fear and succesful revived his buddy.

Anyway, I think Blizzard thinks its not a exploit (they dont fix it) and its been known since ~ 3months.

This has been known for a while. And they semi fixed it. If you use it now and try drink, you will stand up. You'll keep standing up for like 3 drinking attempts.

I thought this was common knowlage for all priests being the main talent you use in arenas.

lol, a spell working as intended is now an exploit. what in the actual **** am i reading?

only cool trick with this is that you can do it and then use fade to drop combat against something you're fighting.

I've been using it for like forever for pve instead of Fade in most situations except pre-pull, for all farming old stuff etc. I thought this is common knowledge.

Sorry, I didn't realize. They should really consider updating the spell's description. Just thought I stumbled across something interesting. I went on a long WoW hiatus and thus it has been a while for me here on OC, I usually try and keep up to date on this stuff.

since 5.1, closer to 12 or 13 months. I Would know, i main a priest.
