how is it an exploit if you are using 3rd party software?
Instead of being sarcastic, you can also enlighten us by posting what you mean is the definiton of an exploit.. I am also unsure whether it's a "traditional" exploit since you need to use 3rd party application to make it work. I'm aware that CE and Lag7 is frequently used apps, but most of the exploits posted in this section do not require 3rd party apps to work.
Unless this is displayed to other players aswell it's nothing more than a model swap and has no potential use for research into what blizzard doesn't check server-side.
An exploit would use a glitch in the game to affect gameplay in a way that the developers had not intended.
You could swap pretty much everything and make stormwind look like the first level of super mario brothers if you wanted to.
Here's an anecdote from a different game: You were given a hotkey to buy an item, but the item id was client sided. If you used cheat engine (or by sending packets) you could change the item id, then when you clicked "buy potion" you would receive the item with the id you changed - you could spawn literally any item in the game.
Would you call that an exploit?
Yes, you would. Same idea for this thread, you're changing stuff and the game devs do not check to make sure the client is sending valid stuff
useless
