Hunter misdirection bug

I posted this a while back, but I hadn't done much testing with it, and didn't fully understand it, but now I do, so here it is. What you'll need is the minor glyph, Glyph of Direction, and a target to cast Misdirection on. After casting Misdirection on your target of choice, cancel the buff, then cast it again. For the remainder of that buff, all threat you generate will be transferred to your Misdirection target. If you need to renew this buff, just cancel the buff and recast it. The exploit in this is that it gives you unlimited Misdirection with no cooldown.

I did this but added /target (pet name) on top of all that, i think it still works .

Just used it 5 minutes ago, it still works. You must be doing something wrong :\

For me the buff is still there however agro is not transfered.. So the misdirect target does grow larger, however no actual threat is misdirected.

The warbringer adds on Garrosh don't follow typical threat mechanics if that's whom you used MD on. They fixate based on proximity.

That's why you have to re-apply the misdirection. If you just cast it and cancel, the buff will stay, but threat won't transfer.
