Simply right click on a battle pet which you already have 3 of, spammable yellow "learned" visual

Does one battle pet share cooldowns with another battle pet? So could you spam two instead of one "learn" animation? Cool vid.

I noticed I still had Egg of Hakkar - Item - World of Warcraft which is Egg of Hakkar in my bags and I'm able to do exactly the same thing with it. However the animation looks like the purple one when warlock summons their pet, and I'm a priest

There are probably many ways one would be to put the pet into your bar and write /fstack into the chat.
Then put your mouse above the icon and it says how the icon is called.

Now make a macro with
/click NAMEOFTHEICON

Not quite, battle pets aren't really items. But there is a macro you can use, edited the post.
