Lots of weird theories with no real evidence to back anything up from people saying fixed and crap... REALITY is your dps is prob too sucky thus you didn't get achievement. sry but if you are only pulling 80k dps on a pull with 10 people you are not going to get this achievement.

I just did it to help out a friend on a 2nd account like 2 hrs ago and it still worked. Killed boss in about 4-5 seconds... I still have title and achievement on my main account.

We had a 2 DKs in our group pull about 750k dps each... I mean hell, looking at damage meters one of our dps had 2.4 million at end of 4 sec fight lol...

We carried a warlock who had like 60k dps... if our whol group was like that it'd be a fail.

This works, I just think people don't know how to ramp up BEFORE the initial pull... and are whining when they don't get achievement.

TL;DR Just tested, still works.

Actually I've seen other classes (including a very well geared SV Hunter) pull out this burst and maintain it for 4 - 5 seconds.

That's very impressive. I have a 502 ilvl frost dk, with full buffs, flask, pre-pot, lust, army, ghoul, I hit just under 200k for the 3-4 seconds it took us to get the achievement. I just don't see where the extra 500k could come from in that short amount of time that Sklug was describing. Not saying it's impossible, I'd just like to know how a dk could pull those numbers.

Do you think you can just say go read ej and that makes you right? Look, those numbers aren't even theoretically possible, not even in korean bis. Let me just spell it out for you: There aren't enough globals in that that short amount of time to produce those number, especially on a single target, regardless of the abilities, buffs, cd's, etc, used in that time frame. Hell, even with some time to ramp up you aren't pulling those numbers. Period. Seriously, go take a look around on WoL at some parses and see if your story adds up, hint: it won't. I'll never understand why people feel the need to exaggerate so much.

What are you trying to show with those logs? That dk did 342k at his peak, during lust, on a multiple target fight. That's less than half of 750k. It's stretched alright, and it's just as far as I think.

lol dude stay bad then... he posted an irrelevant link. I've seen guys burst much higher than that with the right procs/potions and everything. Can he sustain at 750k? nope But can he burst in a few seconds with all of the above? Absolutely! There is a reason this DK is one of the top in the world that ran with us.

But keep on denying, it's ok
