Guaranteed LFR loot(or i just might be lucky)

ok so hasnt really worked however, a wierd scenario.

I queued for Guardians of Mogushan, killed first, got cache, engaged second, left at about 25% HP, got cache in the mail. requeued, got into SAME group (dunno if that matters) after the kill and on 3rd boss, i dps'd him to 75% HP, left, and got Epic Gear in mail, and it said i was not locked ito him.

so i re queue, and as soon as i port to dungeon, it updates that im saved to him, HOWEVER, i have not received the valour points for completing the raid? so im going to go kill him now leave and NOT leave, to see if i get valour, and possible but i doubt it more gear/cache.

This has already got out of hand, I had 4 people left during Tsulong fight at 75%, 6 more at 30% ish. might not live long enough now.


PS: every fight i tried 2night, there always have people left mid fight . so.

Tested and no unfortunatly it does not garantee you loot although this could be used as a good time saver. You get what loot you would get if you were in the raid BUT and he is where it is a time saver. if you do leave and that group does not kill the boss regroups and kills the boss you will still recive the loot you would as if you killed the boss. saving potentialy hours of reforming half assed groups. Not a exploit but nice find!

Tested and only got empty mail

Just a few things;
Empty mail = legendary
If you get a mail, you open it and look inside -> instantly saves you to the boss.
Get a mail, browse the mailbox without opening it, makes you unsaved and wassup queued for next save.

Also - You can get as many loot per boss as you want, IF your group downs it within 1 hour of first kill.
Meaning; do a full premade - Kill first boss, go to whatever boss you want, pull it and kill -> leave group -> instantly re-queue -> Kill boss again = 2 loots.

-> The LFR tool only saves you once you are assigned a loot AND when the loot is @ your hand.

Which means, as soon as the loot gets into the mailbox, you are most likely(not everyone are) saved to the boss.

I can see this work with premade 25 man groups who don't fail like LFR groups, or perhaps on the raid reset day, when you have lower queue times.
I noticed I recieved my mail with gold bag like 25-30 mins after i left the group. So perhaps if you manage to get a 2nd kill within that timeframe, you are able to get 2x chance of loot. However I don't see a 3rd time or more being possible... Since as soon as I had the mail, it didn't show me as saved yet but when I killed the boss, it showed me I won an epic item but alrdy was locked to this boss.

It's just a theorie & I couldn't test it out with the long 15-20 min queues on Terrace (where a lot of groups were wiping at least 3x on 4 bosses)

Servers just came up in US a few hours ago and so far I've managed to get loot 3 times from the same boss without being saved.

Queued for second half of MV, killed first boss legit to avoid deserter. On Elegon after the first transition phase i simply left and requeued.
Queue times for me by myself atm are about 20 minutes.. 19 minutes in I notice I had some mail from "The Postmaster" Didn't check it cause then my queue popped
Did the exact same thing - killed first boss (already looted) checked my Raid Finder and noticed I was still eligible for loot from Elegon (but not first boss - sorry i forget name but you know).
Left after transition with boss at about 50sh percent and no one dead so pretty confident they're going to kill 'em. After this while I was in my third queue waiting for it to pop I dared a sneak at
my mailbox and I can see that my first Elegon only gave me gold, my second gave me a wand. I didn't open any of the mail. After my third raid + leave during Elegon about 5 min later I see I got gold again in my mailbox. 3 loots for same boss. Queueing 4th now :]



After my 5th run I finally got the trinket I wanted

Just wanted to officially confirm this form myself, as I was having issues earlier. I got it to work but as people have said before you CANT open any mail from the postmaster or else you get locked. This should probably be moved to elite as well..
