As of now, there are three kinds of combination in weapon that can be bought from conquest point.
There is the Staff:
Malevolent Gladiator's Staff - Item - World of Warcraft
There is the Mace:
Malevolent Gladiator's Gavel - Item - World of Warcraft
(elite version) Malevolent Gladiator's Gavel - Item - World of Warcraft
And there is the Dagger:
Malevolent Gladiator's Spellblade - Item - World of Warcraft
(elite version) Malevolent Gladiator's Spellblade - Item - World of Warcraft
Blizzard has mistakenly made the "normal" version of the gladiator mace a "one-hand" weapon instead of its intended "main-hand" type.
However they did not slip up on the elite version, so the exploit only works on the "normal" version of the weapon.
Now to the neat part: Playing as an elemental shaman, my offspecc was Enhancement. Enhancement allows you to dual wield (Dual wield basically allows you to carry two weapons of type "one-hand" at the same time).
An exploit that was posted like a year or so ago, pointed out that if you go into Enhancement specc, equip two x "one-hand" weapons, and then respecc back to elemental, you would still carry both the weapons.
At the time, this was not very useful. All weapons with spell power was "main-hand", not "one-hand". We saw no use for this neat little trick, and its hype quickly faded away, until now.
Essentially this means that as a elemental shaman, you can easily out scale your opponents, by utilizing a second weapon. Now some of you might ask yourselves, "why is this such a great advantage for a caster?". The answer to this is quite simple. The weapon has 5,5k ****ing spell power. Subtracting from the bonus you would have gained from using the offhand, you still come out nicely, with some 5k spellpower more than you are intended to be able to have in your gear.
Of course the downside to the exploit is the fact that you actually need to have made at least 7200 conquest points, and at present time you need to have 5000 to spare (for two x 2500 weapons). But still it remains a unintended use of game mechanic, thus my reason for posting it :=)
