Namechanging ! (about 15min to work)

My idea

Delete your character, make a alt with your old name, go on to another character and ask blizz to restore your olg character. Because someone has your old name already the GM might ask you if you would like a new name.

THis currently happens when you migrate server when someone has your name already.

Could this possibly work

dosen't work anymore..
it did for a while back. tryed this on my alt because i wanted to have a namce change and deleted him made a new char whit the same name on another account.

Logged out and made a lvl 1 asked a GM if i could have my old char back and i got it whit the same name.
They just change to lower lvls name into another and not the one u want a name change on
